Artisan Aminos — Terms and Conditions

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of artisanaminos.com (the “Site”) and any purchase of Research Materials from Artisan Aminos (“Artisan Aminos,” “we,” “us”). By accessing the Site, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access the Site, create an account, or place an order.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Use of the Site is your unconditional agreement to these Terms. If any part is unacceptable, discontinue use immediately. If you use the Site on behalf of an organization, you warrant you have authority to bind it to these Terms.

2. Definitions

  • Qualified Researcher means an individual or organization with sufficient education, training, facilities, and lawful authority to purchase and handle Research Materials for legitimate in-vitro research. Artisan Aminos does not provide products for human or animal use or consumption.
  • In-Vitro Research means research conducted outside a living human or animal organism in a controlled laboratory or analytical environment.
  • Research Materials means the products offered for sale by Artisan Aminos on the Site.
  • Artisan Aminos Parties means Artisan Aminos and its owners, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, successors, and representatives.

3. Age and Eligibility Requirements

You must be at least 21 to access the Site, create an account, or purchase any Research Material. By purchasing, you represent that you are legally competent, are a Qualified Researcher, are buying solely for legitimate in-vitro research, and are not purchasing for personal, household, medical, wellness, bodybuilding, cosmetic, recreational, or veterinary use. Artisan Aminos may request proof of age, identity, or research qualifications at any time and may deny, suspend, or cancel access or orders where verification is unsatisfactory.

4. Strictly for In-Vitro Research Use

ALL RESEARCH MATERIALS ARE SOLD SOLELY FOR LAWFUL IN-VITRO LABORATORY OR ANALYTICAL RESEARCH AND ARE NOT INTENDED, LABELED, OR SOLD FOR USE IN OR ON HUMANS OR ANIMALS.

Research Materials must not be consumed, ingested, implanted, inhaled, absorbed, administered, or otherwise applied to a human or animal; used for clinical, therapeutic, diagnostic, cosmetic, nutritional, veterinary, or household purposes; used to diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition; used as or in a drug, biologic, supplement, food, cosmetic, or medical device; used in human or animal research; or transferred to anyone known or suspected to intend human or animal use.

5. Customer Research Certification

By submitting each order, you certify that the order is for legitimate in-vitro research; you have no intention of using, administering, or distributing any Research Material for human or animal use; you have appropriately trained personnel and suitable facilities; you understand the hazards involved and will independently review relevant safety and regulatory information; you will implement appropriate handling, storage, and disposal controls; you will comply with all applicable law; and you will not rely on Artisan Aminos for medical, dosing, or safety advice. These representations are material conditions of every sale.

6. Regulatory Status

Unless expressly stated in writing, Research Materials have not been approved by the FDA for human or animal use, and no statement by Artisan Aminos is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Artisan Aminos does not operate as a pharmacy, medical or veterinary practice, healthcare provider, or a facility registered under Section 503A or 503B of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. No relationship with Artisan Aminos creates a physician-patient, veterinarian-client, or other professional-advisory relationship.

7. No Medical, Dosing, or Administration Advice

Nothing on the Site — including product descriptions, articles, test results, or customer communications — constitutes medical, clinical, veterinary, or dosing advice, or instructions for human or animal use. Artisan Aminos personnel are not authorized to provide instructions concerning human or animal consumption, administration, dosing, treatment, or personal use. Requests for such information may result in order cancellation, account suspension, refusal of future service, or other appropriate action.

8. Certificates of Analysis and Testing Reports

Any certificate of analysis or testing report reflects results for the specific sample or lot tested at that time only. It does not constitute FDA approval, establish suitability for human or animal use, constitute medical or dosing advice, or guarantee a particular research result or that product characteristics will remain unchanged after delivery or handling. Testing for purity, identity, or other attributes does not convert a Research Material into a drug or product suitable for administration to humans or animals; all results must be evaluated independently by qualified laboratory personnel.

9. Products

Research Materials are sold as standalone compounds. Products ship lyophilized and require reconstitution by a qualified professional before laboratory use.

10. Customer Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, the confidentiality of your credentials, and all activity under your account, and must promptly notify Artisan Aminos of any suspected unauthorized use. You may not create an account using a false identity or maintain multiple accounts to evade a restriction. Artisan Aminos may require additional identity, payment, or research verification before accepting an order.

11. Orders and Payment

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all charges incurred, and prices and availability may change without notice. Artisan Aminos may refuse, hold, or cancel any order for any lawful reason, including suspected human, animal, or personal use; failure to verify research qualifications; false or inconsistent information; payment or fraud concerns; pricing or inventory errors; shipping restrictions; prior violations of these Terms; or any transaction presenting a safety, legal, or reputational risk.

12. Shipping and Delivery

We ship only within the United States. Shipping times are estimates, not guarantees. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery to the carrier, and Artisan Aminos is not responsible for carrier, customs, or other delays outside our control.

13. Returns and Refunds

Replacements are offered for products demonstrably damaged in transit, subject to photographic evidence and our review. Reconstituted products are not eligible for replacement, and we do not offer refunds for change of mind or misuse. 14. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site is the property of Artisan Aminos or its licensors and protected by applicable law. You may view or download material for personal, non-commercial research reference only; reproduction or other use without our express written permission is prohibited.

15. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • purchase, possess, use, or transfer Research Materials for human or animal use, personal use, or on behalf of an undisclosed third party;
  • use the Site unlawfully or in violation of these Terms;
  • misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or intended use;
  • interfere with or gain unauthorized access to the Site, or use bots or scrapers;
  • resell, relabel, repackage, or commercially market Research Materials;
  • discuss, promote, or engage in human or animal dosing or consumption of any Research Material through any channel;
  • use our trademarks, content, or test reports to promote a prohibited use;
  • alter or remove any research-use warning or label;
  • provide Research Materials to minors or any unqualified person;
  • use a freight forwarder, false identity, or other means to evade a restriction; or
  • engage in fraud, chargeback abuse, or other illegal activity.

A violation of this Section may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, cancellation of pending orders, and a permanent ban from our services, at our sole discretion.

16. Suspension and Termination

Artisan Aminos may restrict, suspend, or terminate your account, pending transactions, or future purchasing privileges when it reasonably believes you violated these Terms, supplied inaccurate information, failed to provide requested verification, engaged in fraud or abuse, or that your conduct otherwise presents a safety, legal, or business risk, or termination is necessary to comply with law. Termination does not relieve you of any obligation under these Terms, including indemnification and release obligations, which survive termination.

17. Assumption of Risk

YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOUR PURCHASE, POSSESSION, HANDLING, STORAGE, AND USE OF ANY RESEARCH MATERIAL IS AT YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE RISK. ARTISAN AMINOS SELLS RESEARCH MATERIALS INTENDED SOLELY FOR IN-VITRO LABORATORY USE, AND YOU VOLUNTARILY ASSUME ALL RISKS ARISING FROM IMPROPER STORAGE, HANDLING, CONTAMINATION, DEGRADATION, OR MISUSE. ARTISAN AMINOS DOES NOT SELL PRODUCTS FOR HUMAN OR ANIMAL CONSUMPTION.

18. Release and Waiver of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU RELEASE AND FOREVER DISCHARGE THE ARTISAN AMINOS PARTIES FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF YOUR PURCHASE, POSSESSION, HANDLING, STORAGE, OR USE OF ANY RESEARCH MATERIAL, INCLUDING CLAIMS FOR PERSONAL INJURY, ILLNESS, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, EVEN IF BASED ON AN ARTISAN AMINOS PARTY’S NEGLIGENCE. THIS RELEASE DOES NOT EXTEND TO CLAIMS THAT APPLICABLE LAW DOES NOT PERMIT TO BE RELEASED, INCLUDING THOSE ARISING FROM AN ARTISAN AMINOS PARTY’S OWN GROSS NEGLIGENCE OR WILLFUL MISCONDUCT.

If any portion of this release is unenforceable as to a particular claim, the remainder continues to apply, and liability, if any, is limited as set forth in Section 20.

19. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND ALL RESEARCH MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

20. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE ARTISAN AMINOS PARTIES ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR ANY RESEARCH MATERIAL, AND OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC RESEARCH MATERIAL GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, EXCEPT WHERE SUCH LIMITATION IS NOT PERMITTED BY LAW.

21. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Artisan Aminos Parties from any claims, damages, or expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising from: your use or misuse of any product, including any personal injury, illness, or property damage from administration, ingestion, or application of a product to a human or animal — our products are for research use only and not for human or animal consumption; any advertising or promotional content you create referencing a product; any violation of these Terms, including Section 15; or any violation of law or regulatory action arising from your conduct. This obligation survives termination, and Artisan Aminos may assume exclusive defense of any indemnified matter at your expense.

22. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Any dispute arising out of these Terms, your use of the Site, or any Research Material shall be resolved exclusively through final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, before a single arbitrator.

YOU AGREE THAT PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS, NOT AS A CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION, AND YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A CLASS ACTION OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION.

Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court within its jurisdictional limits, and Artisan Aminos may seek injunctive relief in court to protect its intellectual property or prevent irreparable harm. By agreeing to these Terms, you waive your right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action.

23. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time; changes are effective upon posting, and continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance.

24. Severability and Waiver

If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver, and any waiver is effective only if in writing and signed by Artisan Aminos.

25. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and other referenced policies, constitute the entire agreement between you and Artisan Aminos and supersede all prior communications. No statement by any Artisan Aminos employee or agent modifies these Terms unless set out in a signed written amendment.

26. Information You Provide; Privacy

When you create an account, place an order, or otherwise interact with the Site, you provide information such as identifiers, order history, payment metadata, and device/browsing data (“Your Information”). We collect, use, and share Your Information as described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference, to operate the Site, fulfill orders, comply with legal obligations, and, where permitted, send marketing communications. We may create aggregated or de-identified data sets from Your Information. Where required by law (e.g., CCPA/CPRA, GDPR), we will honor applicable rights to access, delete, correct, or opt out of certain uses of Your Information.
